Yes. Hello again, blog. After a whole year. :)

OMG IT HAS BEEN A YEAR (MORE, ACTUALLY) SINCE I EVER HAD THE MOJO TO DROP A LINE IN THIS 'NOT-SO-PRIVATE' BLOG OF MINE!

..and the enlightenment to do 'something' about it did not come by sitting under a coconut tree (since I am HOME now and there are plenty of those ^^)... it came because of the sudden fear of losing precious pictures of mine since I ALMOST SINGLE HANDED-ly KO-ed my own HARDDRIVE the other day by stupidly dropping it to the floor and almost smashing the insides into mush.

Yes, I am a butter-fingered dentist. :) Heh.

England has been a year away now.. but memories still stay fresh in my mind :) My last days in Manchester was spent visiting lovely Lucy and her family in the Peak district, near a little quaint very English town called Buxton.

I am happy to be in the comforts of home, with weather more suitable for a warm blooded mammal like myself :) and food aplenty more suitable for my tastebuds, not forgetting the company of my beloved family.

However there are days where I still miss much about the country I called home for 5 years of my life.

Lucy, thank you for inviting me to your lovely home countless times.. it was a precious experience that no money can buy :)

Lu's granny :)

Lu's parents.. who are the kindest hosts :) I won't forget my first trip to Sainsbury with them :) Thank you for trying your best to make me feel at home, in the midst of my homesickness especially in my first few days in England :)

and little Alex! :) I will always remember how you asked me so innocently when you were much younger.. ''Why is your hair black?'' ''Why are your eyes so small?'' ''What colour are your eyes?''

Now you are a talented young footballer, and I am so proud of you :)

kind and gentle pip

...and the beautiful peak district surrounding this beautiful English family that I was so privileged to get to know :)

ah, this will be the place I 'melepaskan rindu'.. the pictures does make me long to go back.. even just for a day.

But I am grateful nevertherless. For I am blessed with these experiences. :) Thank you, Jesus.
